How do I sell a product on Malisto?

Simply contact us via email with clear photos and a short description of your item. Include brand, size, condition, and any relevant details. Our team will review your submission and let you know if your piece aligns with our curation.

For many items, especially luxury or multiple-product submissions, we offer the option to schedule a showroom appointment at our space in Italy or, depending on your location, a home visit. We aim to make the process as convenient and personal as possible — always with the Malisto touch.

What is the selling procedure?

Once we review and approve your item, we’ll arrange collection or drop-off. After inspecting the product, we’ll confirm acceptance and issue payment. No consignment, no delays.

Which products can I sell?

We accept vintage and preloved clothing and accessories for women and men in excellent condition. We’re looking for items that reflect our brand’s refined aesthetic: timeless, high-quality, and unique. Think luxury fashion, archival gems, rare vintage, and statement pieces that deserve a second life.

Which brands can I sell on Malisto?

We love designer brands like Chanel, Dior, Gucci, Prada, Saint Laurent, Miu Miu, Bottega Veneta, Fendi, and others. But we also have a soft spot for unbranded artisanal pieces that are beautifully made and align with our style. If it’s special, we want to see it.

How much will I receive once my product is accepted?

Once your item is inspected and approved, we’ll make you a clear and fair offer based on the market value, brand, and condition. If you accept, we proceed with payment right away. You get full transparency — and full value — from the start.

Does my product get authenticated before going online?

Yes. All designer items are carefully authenticated by our team. Luxury bags are verified using Entrupy, a cutting-edge AI-powered technology used by leading industry players. We check stitching, hardware, serial numbers, and overall craftsmanship to ensure full authenticity.

What information should I provide about my item?

Please include clear, well-lit photos of the item — front, back, interior, labels, and any visible flaws. Add the brand and model (if known), as well as size, fabric or material, and condition. If available, include any original tags, dust bags, or authenticity cards.

The more details you provide, the faster and more accurately we can review your piece.

Is proof of authenticity or invoice required?

While not mandatory, any original documentation (like receipts, brand tags, or authenticity cards) is helpful and appreciated. However, we still authenticate all designer items ourselves before listing or reselling.

How will I be paid when my item is accepted?

Once your item is received and passes our inspection and authentication, we issue your payment immediately. You can choose between bank transfer or PayPal, depending on what works best for you.

What is the authentication process?

All designer pieces undergo a strict, multi-step authentication process before being listed or sold. Our team carefully inspects each item by hand, checking stitching, labels, hardware, fabric, and brand-specific details. For handbags and leather goods, we use Entrupy, an advanced AI-powered authentication device trusted by top resellers worldwide. We take authentication seriously, so you can shop with complete confidence.

Does Malisto dry-clean or repair my piece(s)?

Yes, at Malisto we guarantee that every item sold is professionally cleaned and ready to wear. We use our own in-house cleaning equipment for gentle treatments and collaborate with trusted specialists for dry cleaning when needed. Every garment and accessory is thoroughly inspected and refreshed before entering our collection, so you’ll always receive a piece that’s clean, cared for, and styled to impress.

Shipping & Returns
Do you ship internationally?

Yes, we ship worldwide, with the exception of Russia and certain countries not serviced by our carriers. Availability may vary depending on shipping regulations, but we always do our best to accommodate.

Which carriers do you use?

We use UPS for shipments within Italy and across Europe, and DHL for all international orders outside the EU. Reliable, fast, and always tracked.

How much does shipping cost?

Shipping costs are applied as a flat rate: €10 for Italy, €20 for European countries, and €30 for all other international destinations.

Do you offer express shipping?

Yes, express delivery is available within Italy. For international orders, all shipments are handled through priority services to ensure fast and smooth delivery.

What are your estimated delivery times?

Orders shipped within Italy typically arrive within two to four working days. For international destinations, delivery can take up to one week, depending on the country and customs clearance. Please note that packages are not processed or moved during weekends.

How quickly do you ship orders?

We process all orders received before 15:00 CET on the same day. Orders placed after this time or during weekends are shipped the following business day.

Will I receive a tracking number?

Yes, every order is shipped with a tracking number. You’ll receive it via email once your parcel has been dispatched, so you can follow its journey in real time.

Do you offer local pick-up?

Yes, you’re welcome to collect your order in person from our showroom in Italy. Just get in touch with us to arrange an appointment.

Can I have my order shipped to a pick-up point?

Yes, we can arrange delivery to a UPS or DHL pick-up point on request. Just let us know during checkout or via message.

Do you offer gift wrapping?

Do I need to pay customs or import fees?

Depending on your country of residence, customs or import duties may apply, even on vintage items. These fees are not included in the purchase price and are the responsibility of the customer. Local regulations may vary and are outside of our control.

Do you accept returns?

Yes, we accept returns and fully comply with European consumer protection laws, specifically Directive 2011/83/EU on consumer rights. If you are based in the European Union, you have the right to return your purchase within 14 days from the date of delivery, without the need to provide a reason. To initiate a return, you must notify us within this period, and the item must be sent back in the same condition in which it was received — unworn, unused, and with all original tags and packaging.

Who pays for return shipping?

For returns within Italy, we offer free return shipping, in accordance with the Italian adaptation of EU consumer law. For all other countries, the return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer, unless the return is due to an error on our part (such as a damaged or incorrect item). All returns must be shipped with tracking, and we recommend choosing a reliable courier, as the customer is responsible for the item until it reaches us.

What happens if my package is lost or damaged?

Although we don’t offer insurance, we always do our best to assist in recovering any lost, delayed, or damaged parcels. Our team works closely with the courier to resolve these issues as quickly as possible.
